In the first game, both teams tied with a score of 713. Elyria then surged ahead in the second game with a score of 918 compared to North Ridgeville’s 680.
Elyria’s performance included strong individual showings from McKitirck, who scored 189 and 213 in the games. North Ridgeville’s Mate also delivered notable scores of 180 and 205.
In girls’ bowling, Black River High School secured a victory over Elyria with a final score of 1,485 to 954. Black River’s dominance was evident in both games, winning 585 to 507 in the first and 605 to 447 in the second. The Baker series also saw Black River outperform Elyria, with scores of 153 to 98 and 142 to 100.
Amherst High School edged out Brunswick with a final score of 1,854 to 1,256, marking another highlight of the day.
