SHERRY ANN TURNER, 73, PASSES AWAY IN ENGLEWOOD, CO

BREAKING: Renowned community member Sherry Ann Turner has sadly passed away at the age of 73 in Englewood, Colorado, on October 30, 2025. Her vibrant spirit and adventurous life touched many, leaving behind a legacy of love, friendship, and hard work.

Born on January 10, 1952, in Cozad, Nebraska, Sherry was celebrated for her warm personality and leadership during her time as homecoming queen at Eustis High School. After graduating in 1970, she pursued her passion for communication at the University of Nebraska Lincoln, where she earned a Master’s in Speech Language Pathology and formed lasting bonds as a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority.

Sherry’s adventurous spirit took her to Italy for a year, creating cherished memories that she often shared with loved ones. Upon returning to the United States, she made a name for herself in Breckenridge, Colorado. Starting her career on Peak 9, she later opened her own jewelry store, Nordica Haus, at the base of the mountain, before transitioning to a successful career as a mortgage lender.

Known for her love of the outdoors, Sherry enjoyed skiing, hiking, and fishing at Parathyon Point, as well as boating at Gallagher Canyon and Plum Creek Canyon. Her backyard gatherings were legendary, where she created a warm and welcoming atmosphere for family and friends.

Sherry is survived by her brothers Doug Turner of Sun City, AZ, and Brad Turner of Eustis, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews who greatly cherished her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Erma Turner, her brother Dallas Turner, and nephew Kelly Turner.
