Vanderbilt University has been awarded the inaugural Torch Award by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC). Notably, Vanderbilt was the only Level VI institution, which includes universities offering four or more distinct doctoral degree programs, to receive the award in the student support and completion category.
