Just moments later, officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on Butterfield Road at 1:36 a.m. The crashed vehicle was traced back to a resident of Aunt Park Lane, leading police to suspect that both vehicles involved were stolen. Witnesses also reported a third vehicle driving slowly around the area, prompting a police investigation.
A patrol officer soon spotted the third vehicle and conducted a stop. Inside were four individuals, including 19-year-old Rashaun Woods from Stratford, who was seated in the front passenger seat alongside two juveniles aged 13 and 15 in the rear. The identity of the driver has not yet been released.

He faces several charges, including larceny of a motor vehicle, evading responsibility, operating without a license, and making an improper turn. Woods is currently held on a $25,000 bond and is expected to be arraigned at Danbury Superior Court later today.
One juvenile was charged with larceny of a motor vehicle and possession of burglary tools. The second juvenile faces multiple charges, including larceny of a motor vehicle, possession of burglary tools, and weapons in a motor vehicle. After being treated for minor injuries sustained during the crash, both juveniles were released to their parents.
