The Rochester bowling team showcased exceptional skill, concluding their regular season with a victory in the Evergreen League Tournament. This triumph secured their title as the 1A/2A/3A Evergreen Conference League Champions. The Warriors achieved a remarkable score of 3,000 pins, finishing a significant 118 points ahead of second-place W.F. West and 150 points clear of third-place Centralia.
Natalie Southard led the individual performances, dominating the tournament with a school record score of 235 and a series total of 601. This outstanding achievement not only highlighted her talent but also solidified her position as a key player for the team. Following her were Centralia’s Lily Guerrero and W.F. West’s Kenley Fragner, who finished second and third with scores of 507 and 496, respectively.
Strong Team Performance
In addition to Southard’s exceptional performance, Rochester’s Ava Clouse contributed significantly to the team’s success. She recorded a high game of 194, finishing in sixth place overall. Lilly Richter also made a notable impact, achieving a high game of 185 and securing the 12th position in the tournament.
