Amanda Pair Foundation Gala Scheduled for February 21, 2026

The Amanda Pair Foundation will host its third annual Legacy Gala on February 21, 2026, aiming to raise funds for cancer research. Set to take place at the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum from 18:00 to 22:00, the black-tie event will feature an evening of dining, dancing, and a silent auction.

Proceeds from the gala will support the foundation’s commitment to funding research on lung cancer and ROS-1 cancers, providing assistance to families facing cancer, and awarding scholarships to students from Vestavia Hills Elementary Liberty Park. Tickets are priced at $250 each, $400 for couples, or $2,000 for a table of twelve.

Last year, the gala exceeded its fundraising goal by a significant margin. The event aimed to raise $43,000, but with the attendance of 230 guests, it ultimately brought in $68,840. This fundraising success reflects the community’s support for the foundation and its mission.

The gala honors the memory of Amanda Pair, who passed away from lung cancer in June 2022, leaving behind a husband and two daughters. Pair was an influential leader in the Parent-Teacher Organization at Vestavia Hills Elementary Liberty Park. Her family and friends continue to uphold her legacy by focusing on cancer research, supporting affected families, and investing in education.

The timing of the Legacy Gala in February is particularly meaningful, as it coincides with Pair’s birthday month. The event serves as a reminder of her impact and the importance of community involvement in fighting cancer.

For those interested in attending, tickets and additional information can be found on the Amanda Pair Foundation’s official website.
