“Few individuals embody the true spirit of giving like Sandy. His quiet compassion, business leadership, and deep commitment to improving the lives of children have shaped this community for generations.”

The evening will also pay tribute to Charles “Charlie” Dancheck, who will receive the Jim Haggerty Service Award for his decades of volunteer service, including over ten years of meal deliveries with Dinners For Kids. Dinners For Kids operates on a unique all-volunteer model, ensuring that 100% of all donations are allocated directly to meal preparation, with no funds spent on staff or facilities. This model has allowed the organization to make a significant impact without administrative overhead.

The “Thanks for Giving!” Fall Gathering kicks off with a cocktail reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner and the awards presentation. This event is more than just a gathering; it is a celebration of community spirit and the collective effort to fight childhood hunger.
