BOE Concludes Educational Initiative, Enhancing Cultural Access

On October 31, 2025, BOE Technology Group Co., Ltd. celebrated the conclusion of its decade-long “Light the Way Forward” educational charity initiative during a ceremony held at the Palace Museum in Beijing. This initiative has significantly advanced education equity in China by establishing 156 smart classrooms across ten provincial-level regions, benefiting over 70,000 teachers and students.

The “Light the Way Forward” initiative aims to integrate technology and education, making learning more accessible and equitable. As part of this effort, the company launched the “100 Traditional Culture Lectures” program in collaboration with the Palace Museum in 2023. This initiative focuses on utilizing BOE’s smart education solutions and digital technology to introduce traditional Chinese culture to classrooms in remote areas. Over the past 18 months, the program has reached nearly 40 schools, positively impacting more than 20,000 students.

Promoting Cultural Heritage Through Technology

In his remarks at the ceremony, a spokesperson from BOE emphasized the initiative’s evolution into a sustainable charity platform. “The ‘Light the Way Forward’ initiative has evolved into an open, diverse, and sustainable charity platform that not only provides hardware support but also empowers with content,” he stated. He further highlighted BOE’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, noting that technology serves as a “powerful force that provides warmth.”

In recent years, BOE has sought to merge culture with technology through various collaborations with cultural institutions, including the Palace Museum. This year, BOE played a pivotal role in the museum’s centennial exhibition by jointly creating the glasses-free 3D digital exhibition titled “Meet the Colors of the Palace Museum.” Additionally, the company contributed to the digital exhibition hall of the Qianlong Garden, demonstrating how technology can serve as a bridge to convey beauty and connect diverse cultures.

Future Endeavors in Education and Culture

Looking ahead, BOE is committed to its “Open Next Earth” sustainable development concept. The organization plans to continue empowering education through innovative technology and cultural initiatives, lighting the way for even more children. With its ongoing commitment to enhancing educational equity and cultural access, BOE remains focused on fostering a future where technology enriches learning and preserves cultural heritage.

Through initiatives like “Light the Way Forward,” BOE showcases its dedication to not only advancing technology but also creating lasting positive impacts on society. As the company moves forward, its efforts promise to further bridge the gap between education and cultural appreciation, ensuring that future generations have the tools and knowledge to thrive.
