Prince Andrew and Fergie Face US Travel Ban Over Epstein Links

Disgraced former Duke of York Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson may never visit the United States again due to the ongoing fallout from the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. A recent report indicates that the backlash surrounding their connections to Epstein could prevent them from stepping foot on US soil. Historian Andrew Lownie, author of the book “Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York,” provided insights during an interview with NewsNation host Paula Froelich.

Lownie stated, “Andrew will not respond or testify in front of Congress. He — or his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson — will never travel to the United States again.” The historian emphasized that neither Andrew nor Ferguson wish to face potential arrest or be compelled to testify regarding their relationship with Epstein.

Virginia Giuffre, a notable accuser who died by suicide in April 2023, alleged in her posthumous memoir “Nobody’s Girl” that Epstein had coerced her into sexual encounters with Andrew on three occasions, beginning when she was just 17 years old. Lownie suggested that the number of victims linked to Andrew may be increasing, stating, “We’re going to get other names of people who were trafficked to Andrew, particularly girls younger than Virginia.”

The ramifications of the Epstein scandal continue to haunt Andrew, who is now officially known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor after being stripped of his royal titles and honors by his older brother, King Charles. Lownie further noted that Andrew and Ferguson had a closer relationship with Epstein than many people realize. He stated, “Their friendship with Epstein began much earlier than previously thought and lasted much longer than people say.”

Ferguson, who divorced Andrew in 1996, has publicly acknowledged “borrowing” $15,000 from Epstein; however, Lownie claims this amount could be significantly higher, estimating the total at around $2 million. He asserted that Epstein considered this financial arrangement a worthwhile investment, believing that the Yorks would introduce him to other royals.

As the situation unfolds, both Andrew and Ferguson have remained silent, and attempts to secure their comments have so far been unsuccessful. The potential for further revelations regarding their connections to Epstein and the implications for their future in the United States adds another layer of complexity to an already troubled legacy. The ongoing scrutiny highlights the broader issues surrounding accountability and the impact of such scandals on personal and public lives.
