UPDATE: The 8th Annual Black Girls Vote Ball was a resounding success, raising $31,000 to support the empowerment of women of color in politics. Held on November 21, 2025, at Martin’s West in Baltimore, this year’s theme, “Every Black Girl Has A Story,” resonated deeply with a sold-out crowd of 900 guests.
The event kicked off with a VIP reception, allowing attendees to mix and mingle before the main festivities began. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as guests enjoyed an elegant dinner and danced on a stunning lighted floor, creating an unforgettable night.
“Every Black Girl has a story, and tonight we celebrate those stories,” said Nykidra Robinson, founder of Black Girls Vote. The organization’s mission is to encourage civic engagement among women of color, and this event showcased its ongoing commitment to this cause.
