The holiday season is in full swing at the Bonnie Kate Community Theater, which is hosting a variety of festive events, including classic film screenings and live performances, aimed at enriching community spirit. Renee Christian, the theater’s Artistic Director, emphasized the importance of this time of year, stating, “Bonnie Kate is really community oriented and Christmas, I think, is the penultimate time of the year when people come together.”
The historic theater, which has changed ownership and undergone renovations over the years, aims to create lasting memories for future generations. Christian noted, “We know that there are people in our community who have wonderful memories of the Bonnie Kate from when they were growing up, and what we want to do… is breathe some new life back into the old gal.”
