The 7th Annual Stuff the Truck Toy Drive took place on December 1, 2023, at The Cowan inside Topgolf in Nashville, Tennessee. This event aims to gather toys for children and families supported by the Metro Police Christmas Charities. The drive seeks to fill trucks with gifts that will benefit local families, particularly those encountered by officers during their calls throughout the year.
The evening featured a live performance by the band The Spazmatics, alongside local DJs, vendors, and food and drink options. Attendees paid a $25 entry fee or brought a toy donation, with each ticket including one food ticket and one drink ticket. This combination of entertainment and charity aims to foster community spirit while providing much-needed support to families during the holiday season.
For those unable to attend the event, donations will continue to be accepted until December 16. Individuals interested in contributing can drop off toys at designated locations or reach out for further information. The Metro Police Christmas Charities have a longstanding commitment to assisting children in need, and this initiative plays a crucial role in their outreach efforts.
“The toys collected will support Metro Police Christmas Charities to help children officers have encountered on calls throughout the year,”
said a representative for the event. This ongoing support not only brings joy to local families but also strengthens the relationship between the police force and the community.
