The program, organized by the Volunteer Services department, is open to students aged 14 through their senior year of high school. Applications are due by April 17, 2026, and participants will gain hands-on experience while serving their community.
The Summer Student Volunteer Program is particularly beneficial for students contemplating careers in health care. Accepted applicants will engage in Experiential Learning Days, designed to introduce them to various hospital departments through presentations and interactive sessions. These sessions will cover critical areas such as the Emergency Department, Central Services, and Behavioral Health, allowing students to explore the diverse career paths within the health sector.
