Jerome F. Bartel, aged 91, of Inver Grove Heights, passed away on December 31, 2025. He is survived by his devoted wife of 68 years, Judith “Judy” Bartel, alongside their children, Susan (married to Edward Carroll) and David. The family also includes their grandson, Paxton Carroll, and brother-in-law, Ted Horner, along with numerous other relatives and friends.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Klecatsky & Sons West Chapel, located at 1051 South Robert Street at Arion, West St. Paul. Prior to the service, there will be a gathering starting two hours earlier at the same location. Following the memorial, a private entombment will take place at Riverview Cemetery in St. Paul.
The family encourages memorial contributions to the Union Gospel Mission in St. Paul, reflecting Mr. Bartel’s commitment to community service. Special acknowledgments have been made to the dedicated staff at Inver Glen Senior Living and St. Croix Hospice for their compassionate care during his final days.
Mr. Bartel’s life was marked by deep familial bonds and a strong sense of community. His passing is felt profoundly by those who knew him, and his legacy will endure through the lives he touched.
