Foo Fighters to Host Benefit Concert for Los Angeles Homeless

The iconic rock band Foo Fighters has announced a benefit concert scheduled for January 14, 2026, at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California. This special one-night event aims to raise funds and collect essential goods for two longstanding partner organizations, Hope the Mission and Los Angeles Mission. Both nonprofits work tirelessly to provide food, shelter, and services to unhoused and food-insecure individuals across the city.

This concert marks the band’s return to the Kia Forum and coincides with lead singer Dave Grohl‘s 57th birthday. Proceeds from ticket sales, along with items collected during the presale, will directly support emergency housing, meal programs, and outreach efforts run by the two organizations. Grohl expressed his enthusiasm for the event, stating, “What better way to spend my 57th birthday than making a bunch of noise with a bunch of friends for a good cause?”

Presale Details and Donation Drive

An in-person-only presale will take place at the Kia Forum on December 7, 2025. This presale will also serve as a donation drive, allowing fans early access to tickets by bringing specific requested items for Hope the Mission. The items include new, packaged socks and underwear for all ages and genders, as well as bagged dried pinto beans, rice, and dry pasta such as spaghetti or macaroni. Notably, canned goods and perishable items will not be accepted.

General ticket sales information will follow after the presale. Fans can stay updated on the concert and ticket availability through the band’s official Instagram account at instagram.com/foofighters.

Impact of the Benefit Concert

Both Hope the Mission and Los Angeles Mission have emphasized the crucial role this partnership plays in addressing homelessness in Los Angeles. “Every ticket purchased and every donation will directly help feed and house our unhoused neighbors,” said Dennis Oleesky, CEO of the Los Angeles Mission. Rowan Vansleve, president of Hope the Mission, praised Foo Fighters for their commitment to the cause, stating they are “an example of what’s possible when people show up and give back.”

The concert not only serves as a celebration of music but also as a vital initiative to combat homelessness in Los Angeles. With thousands of residents facing housing insecurity, this event provides a significant boost to programs aimed at helping those in need.
