Ridgeline High School Marching Band Triumphs at Idaho Championship

Ridgeline High School’s marching band secured a significant victory at the Bands of America Idaho Regional Championship on March 30, 2024. The event took place at the University of Idaho’s Kibbie Dome, where the band, hailing from Liberty Lake, Washington, achieved a remarkable score of 82.3.

In addition to clinching first place, Ridgeline High School earned accolades for Outstanding Music Performance, Outstanding Visual Performance, and Outstanding General Effect. This achievement highlights the band’s dedication and talent, setting a high standard in the competitive marching band circuit.

Competition Overview and Results

The championship featured a total of 14 bands from various schools, showcasing a range of musical and visual performances. Following Ridgeline High School, Cheney High School placed second with a score of 79.85, while Mt. Spokane High School came in third with 78.05.

Other notable performances included A.C. Davis High School with a score of 77.65 and Mead High School at 77.5. The competition concluded with Lewiston High School finishing in 11th place with 63.5 and Clarkston High School in 12th with 62.85.

“The dedication and hard work of our students truly paid off today,” said the band director of Ridgeline High School.
