Adubato enjoyed a successful coaching career, particularly noted for his time with the New York Liberty from 1999 to 2004. Under his leadership, the team reached the WNBA Finals three times. He still holds the franchise record for games coached, tallying 178 matches, and ranks second for career wins, amassing 100 victories during his tenure.
