Jordan Anderson Racing Unveils 2026 Driver Lineup and Alliance

Jordan Anderson Racing (JAR) has officially announced its driver lineup for the 2026 season and revealed a significant technical alliance with Richard Childress Racing (RCR) in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series. This partnership marks a pivotal moment for JAR as it seeks to enhance its competitive edge on the track.

The announcement confirms that Jeb Burton will return to the team, alongside Blaine Perkins, who has shown promising potential after his performance in the No. 31 car during the previous season. Perkins achieved multiple top-10 finishes at key races, including COTA, Portland, and two at Talladega, indicating his capabilities and growth within the organization.

“Blaine Perkins is back in the 31 Chevrolet for 2026! He took a big step forward this past season with a career high in top tens, and we’re fired up to keep that momentum rolling into next year,” JAR stated in an announcement on social media.

The team will also field a third car, which will be driven by various competitors throughout the season. Notably, Katherine Legge made appearances with JAR this past year, and Rajah Caruth is eyeing a more robust schedule in the O’Reilly Series after racing part-time with JR Motorsports.

Strategic Technical Alliance with Richard Childress Racing

The collaboration with RCR is seen as a transformative move for Jordan Anderson Racing. This alliance comes at a time when RCR is looking to fill a gap left by Kaulig Racing, which is no longer a competition partner due to its focus on the Truck Series with Ram/Stellantis. The partnership aims to leverage RCR’s extensive resources and expertise, potentially propelling JAR to new heights in the competitive landscape of NASCAR.

In addition, RCR has introduced Carson Brown as a new development driver. At just 17 years old, Brown could see opportunities to race in the additional car at JAR, further strengthening the connection between the two teams.

The 2026 season is shaping up to be crucial for JAR and its drivers. With Ford losing its foothold in the series, the manufacturer faces challenges ahead unless strategic changes are implemented.

As Jordan Anderson Racing aims to capitalize on its new technical alliance and solidify its driver roster, the upcoming season holds significant promise for improvement and potential success on the racetrack. The extent of that success will depend on how effectively the team can utilize its new resources and enhance its competitive strategies throughout the year.
