34-Year-Old Arrested for Stabbing Death of Moreno Valley Man

UPDATE: A 34-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 35-year-old Moreno Valley resident, Jullian Hughes, police confirmed today. The incident occurred at approximately 12:20 p.m. on December 9, 2023, in the 3700 block of University Avenue in Riverside, California.

Authorities reported that Hughes succumbed to multiple stab wounds shortly after emergency responders transported him to a nearby hospital. The Riverside Police Department swiftly identified the suspect as John Larry Perryman, who fled the scene but was apprehended later near 14th Street and Sedgwick Avenue.
