URGENT UPDATE: A devastating house fire in Paterson, New Jersey, claimed the lives of five people, including three children, on Halloween night. The tragic incident occurred shortly after 9:56 p.m. at 15 Emerson Ave, where firefighters battled intense flames fueled by strong winds.
Fire Chief Alex Alicea reported that the fire quickly spread to the second level of the small, wood-frame structure, where the victims—two adults and three children—were tragically found. As of now, the relationships between the deceased remain unclear, and authorities are actively investigating the cause of this horrific blaze.
This incident has also left 11 people displaced from their homes. The Red Cross is on-site, providing essential assistance.
