URGENT UPDATE: The U.S. Navy Blue Angels are landing in Cleveland today, offering an exciting preview of their participation in the upcoming 2026 Cleveland National Air Show on Labor Day weekend. Pilots Ronny Hafeza from Redondo Beach, California, and Lilly Montana from Vienna, Virginia, are scheduled to conduct a spectacular flyover in their F/A-18 Super Hornets before touching down at Burke Lakefront Airport at approximately 3:25 p.m.
Residents can expect a thrilling display as the elite flight team engages with air show organizers and local support agencies during this essential pre-season visit. “We are thrilled to host the U.S. Navy Blue Angels for their pre-season visit,” said Kim Dell, Executive Director of the air show. “And we are proud to be a Salute Across America 250 signature event.”
Cleveland is among just 32 U.S. cities chosen to showcase the Blue Angels in 2026. The full squadron will perform an electrifying one-hour aerial demonstration from September 5 to 7, featuring their iconic Diamond Formation known for its precision and breathtaking aerobatics.
