Celina ISD Coach Caleb Moore Arrested Again on New Charges

UPDATE: Celina ISD football coach Caleb Elliott has been arrested once again, marking his third criminal charge amid shocking allegations. Earlier today, authorities confirmed that a new warrant was issued for Elliott for the sexual performance of a child, a serious second-degree felony.

Elliott, who was arrested on October 12, 2023, and booked into the Collin County jail, is facing escalating scrutiny as police continue their investigation into his disturbing actions in the Moore Middle School locker room. No bond amount has been set at this time.

According to Celina police, the charge relates to accusations that Elliott secretly recorded boys, with the Texas Penal Code defining “Sexual Performance” as luring a minor to engage in acts that visually depict lewd exhibitions. Investigators have reported that Elliott allegedly recorded images of more than 30 boys while they were undressed or partially clothed.

This latest arrest follows a troubling history for Elliott. He was initially taken into custody in October 2023 for invasive visual recording and possession of child pornography. A lawsuit filed by the parents of his alleged victims claims that Celina ISD was aware of Elliott’s inappropriate relationship with a student while he worked at Celina High School. The suit alleges that the district attempted to cover up the situation by transferring him to the middle school, where he is accused of further misconduct.

In a statement, Celina officials confirmed that they are cooperating fully with law enforcement and have placed Elliott on administrative leave “indefinitely.” The district has faced increased scrutiny as multiple staff members have been implicated in various misconduct allegations.

Just days ago, Micheale Clark, a 46-year-old special education aide at Celina High School, was arrested for endangering a disabled individual while allegedly impaired on campus. Additionally, another employee, Jainya Walder, a 40-year-old English teacher at Moore Middle School, was charged with endangering a child under similar circumstances.

The situation continues to evolve as the district’s principal and the athletic director, Bill Elliott, were placed on administrative leave in late October to prevent any interference with ongoing investigations into Caleb Elliott’s actions.

The community is left reeling from these developments, with parents and students demanding accountability. As investigations progress, the focus remains on ensuring the safety and well-being of all students in the district.

Authorities urge anyone with additional information regarding the ongoing investigations to come forward. This story is developing, and more updates are expected as the situation unfolds. Stay tuned for the latest.
