URGENT UPDATE: The highly anticipated Hampton Roads Restaurant Weeks kick off next week, inviting food lovers to explore new culinary delights and rediscover beloved favorites across the region. Starting January 11, 2025, diners can enjoy exclusive offers at local restaurants that feature specially priced fixed menus and multi-course meals.
Each participating city will host its restaurant week, providing a unique opportunity for the community to support local businesses while enjoying delectable dishes. Newport News leads the charge from January 11 to 25, featuring over 30 restaurants including newcomers like Matt’s Smackin Macs and Deutsche Ecke. Noteworthy deals include a $10 lunch at Catrin Cantina and a three-course dinner at Schlesinger’s Steakhouse for $40.
Virginia Beach follows suit with its own Restaurant Week from January 16 to 25. More than 25 restaurants are participating, including popular spots like Milk & Honey and Tides Coastal Kitchen. Diners can indulge in a $15 breakfast or a $20 lunch/brunch at select venues.
Virginia’s River Realm Restaurant Week, also from January 16 to 25, highlights local flavors with offerings from nine towns. Notable experiences include a four-course dinner paired with wines at Dredge and a three-course menu at The Office Bistro for just $38.
Portsmouth’s Restaurant Week starts on January 23 and runs through January 31, featuring restaurants like Guads Mexican Restaurant and Fish & Slips Marina Raw Bar & Grill. More participants are expected to join this culinary celebration.
Norfolk’s Downtown restaurant scene will come alive next, hosting its Restaurant Week from January 26 to February 1. Last year, over 30 restaurants participated, and the Downtown Norfolk Council promises exciting menus and updates soon.
