Kevin Paul Larson, 66, Passes Away After Cancer Battle in FL

URGENT UPDATE: Kevin Paul Larson, age 66, of Port Charlotte, FL, has passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on October 15, 2025. This heartbreaking news comes as family and friends mourn the loss of a beloved father, brother, and grandfather.

Born to John and Mary (Haug) Larson in 1959 in Duluth, MN, Kevin was a proud graduate of Denfeld High School, class of 1977. He furthered his education at Dunwoody College, where he built a foundation for a successful career.

Kevin is preceded in death by his father, John J. Larson, and his son, Dylan Baron Larson. He leaves behind his mother, Mary Larson, who resides in Duluth, along with his children, Nick (Faith) Larson and Hayley Larson. Kevin also leaves his siblings: Kerry (Xiuping) Larson, Kathy (Jim) Sandstedt, Kris Larson, and Kent (DawnMarie) Larson. His cherished grandchildren, Brooklyn, Parker, Preston, and Cheyenne, will carry on his legacy.
