Just announced on October 21, 2023, this operation took down a total of 12 suspects involved in extensive drug trafficking.

Earlier this week, law enforcement agencies, including the North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement (ALE) and the Creedmoor Police Department, executed a major crackdown centered around the City Tavern at 404 N Main St.. This investigation uncovered a network of individuals manufacturing and distributing illegal drugs throughout the Creedmoor area, notably near schools and public playgrounds, raising serious public safety concerns.

The last two fugitives, Travis Keyshawn Johnson, 23, of Timberlake, and Marcus Shadell Lockett, 52, of Creedmoor, were taken into custody after a swift manhunt.
