The Cougars dominated from the start, firing an impressive 53 shots on goal, showcasing their offensive prowess.
By the end of the first period, Mankato East had already established a commanding 4-0 lead. The Cougars continued their offensive onslaught, leading 7-1 at the end of the second period. This victory improves Mankato East’s record to 3-0-1 overall and 2-0-0 in the Big Nine.
