Nigerian Police Uncover Gruesome Organ Trafficking Ring NOW

URGENT UPDATE: Authorities in southeastern Nigeria have unveiled a shocking organ-trafficking ring operating right under the community’s nose. The Imo State Police Command revealed that an ordinary hotel and mortuary in Ngor Okpala were central to a horrifying network, allegedly run by High Chief Stanley Oparaugo, also known as “Morocco.” He is now wanted by police and is on the run.

This investigation was ignited by a disturbing surge in kidnappings near the Jessy Best Hotel and the adjacent Ugwudi Mortuary. Following weeks of undercover surveillance, police linked the abductions to Oparaugo, who is believed to have lured victims into his hotel, where they were robbed or abducted, often forcing families to pay ransom—yet many victims were never seen again.

After authorities raided the properties, the extent of the horrors became clear. The hotel was found abandoned, but the mortuary revealed appalling conditions. Officers discovered over 100 decomposed and mutilated bodies, raising immediate suspicions of illegal organ harvesting. Police spokesperson Henry Okoye stated, “At the mortuary, decomposed and mutilated corpses were discovered in unhygienic conditions, raising suspicions of illegal organ-harvesting activities.”

In addition to the mortuary, police also searched Oparaugo’s residence, recovering crucial evidence that is currently being processed by forensic teams. Investigators suspect that victims were transported from the hotel to the mortuary to be killed and their organs sold.

As this case unfolds, local authorities are ramping up security along the Owerri–Aba Expressway in response to the escalating violence, assuring travelers of increased protection through the holiday season. This disturbing trend of kidnappings and violent crimes has drawn international concern. Recently, the Nigerian federal government secured the release of 100 schoolchildren abducted from St. Mary’s School in Niger State, highlighting the urgent need for action against such crimes.

The instability and violence in Nigeria have garnered attention from global leaders, including Donald Trump, who has named Nigeria a “country of particular concern” due to ongoing persecution faced by Christians in the region.

As investigations continue, the public is urged to remain vigilant, and anyone with information regarding Oparaugo or the ongoing kidnappings is encouraged to contact local law enforcement immediately. The situation remains fluid, and further updates are expected as authorities work to dismantle this horrific operation.
