UPDATE: The Historical Society of Woodstock announces an urgent screening of the new short film “Vanishing Village” on November 1, 2023. This compelling event will take place at the Eames Museum, located at 20 Comeau Drive, Woodstock, NY, from 3 to 4 p.m.

This film, based on Will Rose’s acclaimed book, “The Vanishing Village,” offers a captivating glimpse into Woodstock circa 1903. Narrated by Lewis Arlt, the film visually transports viewers through a historical journey that is both educational and deeply engaging.

Following the screening, attendees can participate in a live discussion led by Arlt and co-producer Janine Fallon Mower, providing insight into the creative process behind the film.
