BREAKING: Antonino “Tony” Morici, Sr., age 78, has passed away on December 10, 2025, at his home in Palmer Twp., PA, surrounded by his beloved family. Known for his culinary talents and community spirit, Tony was the proud owner of Morici’s Restaurant on College Hill in Easton.
This heartbreaking news comes as the community remembers Tony for his deep commitment to family and faith. He was a devoted member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church and actively participated in the Holy Cross Society.
Tony was born on August 23, 1947, in Santo Stefano di Camastra, Sicily. His legacy includes not only his restaurant but also a rich tradition of Italian cooking and homemade wine-making that he cherished sharing with family and friends.
Survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Maria (Galati) Morici, Tony is also remembered by his three sons: Frank Morici and his wife Meghan of Nazareth, PA; Santo Morici and his wife Ashley of Gainesville, GA; and Anthony “Nino” Morici, Jr. and his wife Bobbie of Palmer Twp., PA. He leaves behind cherished grandchildren: Nino, Sammy, Dominic, Natalie, Santino, Madelyn, Gianna, Luciano, and Colton.
The community is invited to pay their respects during calling hours scheduled for Wednesday, December 17, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., located at 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA. An additional hour for tributes will take place on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 8:45 AM to 9:45 AM, at the same location.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Thursday at 10:30 AM at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Easton, PA. Interment is set for St. Anthony’s Cemetery, located at 520 Cedarville Road, Easton, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tony’s name to the Saint Padre Pio Shrine, 111 Barto Road, Barto, PA 19504.
